Over 150 events across six days – spread throughout the entire city at a variety of locations. It’s easy to lose track. That’s where the on-site concept comes in: one district per day. Around the Technology Park
The day kicks off with a business breakfast at the Technology Center Dortmund. From Joseph-von-Fraunhofer-Straße to Emil-Figge-Straße and Otto-Hahn-Straße, visitors gain deep insights into science and research – including at the Technical University, University of Applied Sciences, Fraunhofer IML, and more. Even the international delegation of the European Digital Innovation Hub Dortmund (EDIH-DO) won't miss it.
The official opening of Digital Week Dortmund 2025 and the presentation of the #diwodo IT-SOLUTION AWARD marks the end of the day – for everyone. On top, as part of the opening ceremony, you'll experience our popular "Science Slam" that transforms ordinary scientists into celebrated slammers competing against each other in the ultimate battle of knowledge! This highlight is proudly presented by Dortmund's Science Masterplan.

Stadtkrone Ost
This day highlights Dortmund's role as one of Germany’s leading IT hotspots – and rightfully Europe’s Capital of Innovation and home to a European Digital Innovation Hub. The focus is on the city’s IT quarter in Stadtkrone Ost, home to many digital companies. The day ends with the FOUNDERS FIGHT NIGHT at Junkyard – a new format for startups and tech investors.

Stadium – Signal Iduna Park
The CONF3RENCE 2025 is the flagship event of Digital Week Dortmund. On September 3 and 4, more than 200 speakers, 150 partners, and key decision-makers from business and tech gather at Signal Iduna Park. Three stages host content on blockchain, digital assets, AI, and the metaverse. In the evening, the #diwodo mid-week party brings participants and guests to Strobels near the stadium.

PHOENIX
Freie-Vogel-Straße, Hörder Hafenstraße, Hörder Bahnhofstraße, Konrad-Adenauer-Allee – these streets lead to areas that embody structural transformation, a success story shown by the many innovative businesses based there. Materna SE opens the doors to its new headquarters with a diverse program. Bechtle AG also hosts a vibrant event day. The mix of international flair and Dortmund’s welcoming spirit makes this day especially exclusive – thanks to both well-known and up-and-coming companies. The evening features a special event at adesso SE.

Speicherstraße, containers, water, and bridges – this is Dortmund’s harbor. Industry, shipping, logistics, and digitalization come together here – and even more so in the years ahead. During #diwodo25, companies like Schrader und Trojan GmbH open their doors. There’s also plenty happening at the Digitale Werkbank and the Projektspeicher.

A day dedicated to the next generation.
The day begins with the Einstieg fair at the Westfalenhallen – the perfect event for young people looking to launch their future, whether through an apprenticeship, university studies, or a gap year. Companies, universities, and organizations will showcase their opportunities. Expect inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and personal guidance.
The grand finale of #diwodo25 takes place at the Dortmunder U: the final round of “Germany’s Best Hacker.”
