Spin the wheel - Meet EDIHs from all over Europe!

Unter dem Motto „Spin the Wheel – with the EDIHs from all over Europe“ wird das Riesenrad auf dem Festivalgelände des FATT zum Ort für Begegnung, Austausch und neue Perspektiven. Während einer gemeinsamen Fahrt können die Teilnehmenden Vertreter:innen von European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) kennenlernen und aus erster Hand erfahren, wie Künstliche Intelligenz und Digitalisierung in anderen europäischen Ländern vorangebracht werden.

EDIHs sind von der EU unterstützte Innovationszentren, die Unternehmen und öffentliche Einrichtungen dabei begleiten, digitale Technologien und KI in die Praxis zu bringen. Sie fördern den Austausch von Know-how, unterstützen bei der Erprobung neuer Technologien und helfen dabei, grenzüberschreitende Kooperationen aufzubauen.

Mit dabei sind EDIHs aus folgenden Ländern: Albanien, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Montenegro, Nordmazedonien, Kosovo, Serbien, Spanien, Ukraine, Moldau, Bulgarien, Dänemark, Niederlande, Finnland und Polen.

Das Event bietet die ideale Gelegenheit, internationale Kontakte zu knüpfen, Einblicke in digitale Entwicklungen in Europa zu gewinnen und mögliche Partnerschaften für zukünftige Projekte anzustoßen.

On 16 September 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., visitors at Kokerei Hansa will have the opportunity to take part in a special international networking event as part of #diwodo.

Under the motto “Spin the Wheel – with the EDIHs from all over Europe”, the Ferris wheel becomes a space for exchange, connection and fresh perspectives. During the ride, participants will have the chance to meet representatives of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) and learn first-hand how artificial intelligence and digitalisation are being advanced in other European countries.

EDIHs are EU-supported innovation hubs that help companies and public sector organisations bring digital technologies and AI into practice. They enable knowledge transfer, support the testing of new technologies and foster cross-border collaboration.

EDIH representatives from the following countries will take part: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Spain, Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Finland and Poland.

This event is a great opportunity to make international connections, gain insights into digital developments across Europe and spark new partnerships for future cooperation.
